The Marketing Specialist’s role is to design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the Gateway to Hope. The Gateway to Hope is a community-focused training program and is part of the Hope and Healing Center & Institute's (HHCI) response to the mental health care crisis facing our country.

This role requires a strong knowledge of developing strategic marketing campaigns based on understanding of competitive landscape and delivering measurable results.

Proficiency in marketing communications, especially social and content marketing, graphics and web development as well as strong writing and editing experience are necessary.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage social marketing program focused on lead generation for Gateway to Hope. Design, implement and manage measurable Content Strategy across all digital platforms. Planning, development and execution of digital programs and campaigns, including online advertising, web site strategy, social media, and mobile deliverables.

Lead ongoing management of digital touch points, including mentalhealthgateway.org, social networking landing pages (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube). Oversee and maintain site analytics, metrics, and campaign reporting. Strong knowledge of SEO and AdWords programs.

Oversee development of multimedia and video assets. Develop, manage and design communications such as newsletters, event marketing materials, and flyers/brochures.

Manage vendor relationships and projects with attention to budgets and schedules.

Developing and managing targeted marketing events and delivering marketing presentations as needed. Familiarity working with CRM tools.

Interface with all HHCI functions, and work as part of a cross-functional team to deliver measurable results.

Desired Skills & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
2-5 years of experience in marketing communications experience.

Core Competency Requirements

Deep understanding of digital marketing and digital production.
Proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns.
Proven experience delivering a variety of digital assets.

Experience managing successful social media campaigns, and a solid understanding of social marketing.
Solid understanding of web metrics, digital analytics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.
Must be able to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, HTML.
Experience managing a WordPress website and working with Mail Chimp campaigns.
