The Nobel Prize is the most prestigious award in the world and the nomination and selection process is notoriously secretive. The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center team prepared a turnkey plan to activate all channels of communication in the event the organization's Jim Allison, Ph.D., received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his groundbreaking discoveries in the field of immunotherapy. The plan was put in motion early in the morning of Oct. 1, 2018.

Laura Harvey, executive director for Internal Communications, Megan Maisel, executive director for Digital Communications and Content, and Brette Peyton, executive director for Public Relations, will take you behind the scenes and share how the MD Anderson team prepared for and executed on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Please note that refunds are issued only in the form of a credit toward a future IABC Monthly Luncheon.
