Please join IABC Houston during CERAWeek for a special dinner event with Brian Sullivan, Senior National Correspondent with CNBC, on Monday, March 9, at the Junior League of Houston.

Award-winning business news coverage has the incredible power to shape market perceptions, influence the strongest leaders and, most importantly, set the record straight for everyone. Sullivan will take us through the world of financial media and will discuss the shared mission and unique relationship of investor, financial and communications professionals, and the financial media.

Attendees will learn how to engage top-notch reporters, leading television personalities and digital journalists. Sullivan will also share some of what he’s hearing in his CNBC interviews at CERAWeek, including any changes in perceptions related to the energy industry and how financial media is changing.

Additional topics that will be covered include:

  • Learn the key elements for preparing executives (or yourself) for media interviews
  • Discover how to develop a more productive relationship with media outlets
  • Recognize how the Twitter era has changed financial news coverage and impacted markets

IABC Houston is proud to co-host this event with the following partner organizations.

The event begins at 5 p.m., includes a networking hour and dinner, and conclude with remarks from Brian Sullivan followed by a Q&A period.
