Collaborating and Influencing in a Virtual Work Environment

Overcoming the challenges of maintaining personal connections in your organization while working remotely has been a popular topic of discussion in 2020. Now that we've gotten our work-from-home routines ingrained as our current 'normal' (for at least the remainer of the year), how do we take that next step from simply surviving to truly thriving in this work dynamic? How do we embrace collaboration and camaraderie with the absence of in-office opportunities to connect, such as hallway chats, office drop-ins and break room catch-ups? Furthermore, how can one influence and demonstrate leadership behaviors in an organization when we're relegated to rely on amibiguous emails, complicated internal messaging platforms and choppy audio or visual calls?

Join us for our November Net Nine program as we dive into this subject and share lessons learned, ideas and tips for improving our virtual work environments, to ensure we also remain effective in our organizations and as individuals pursuing continual professional development. Whether you've worked remotely for years or are still struggling to embrace this shift, we hope you'll join us and contribute to this insightful discussion!
