About the Panelists

Emily Herren
: Emily is the founder of the wildly popular fashion and lifestyle blog, Champagne and Chanel. Holding a communications degree from Texas A&M, Emily began blogging and engaging her audience on social media in January 2016. Since then, she has amassed nearly 400K followers on Instagram and uses her platform to promote fashion products from both local and national brands.

Hafeez Baoku
: Hafeez Baoku is an author, director, educator and podcast host. As a digital communities manager at YES Prep Public Schools, Hafeez oversees the content creation and social media platforms while leveraging analytics to help maximize YES’s social reach and impact. As the founder of The Roommates Podcast, Hafeez boasts one of the highest-rated podcasts originating from Houston and has been featured in numerous publications. With a large national following, Hafeez uses the medium of podcasting to engage and encourage his audience by sharing the importance of kindness and helping others achieve their dreams.
