The difference between being right and being successful is the art of communication

The challenges we experience in communications often stem from the differences in communication styles.

How often have you experienced a meeting to go 100% as planned? Sometimes everything does gel, and the meeting runs smooth.

However, more often the meeting goes off the rails because you had Jane in the corner chatting away, having a side bar about her golf game she had over the weekend, you had Bob giving you a deep dive response to a question that really only required a one word response, and you had Joe loudly trying to take over the meeting to get his action items taken care of rather than the priorities at hand.

Recognizing that there are strengths and liabilities to each style is the first step in demystifying how to create alignment rather than disconnect, so that you can ultimately achieve a quality connection, no matter who you encounter.

Tinja Anderson will talk with us about Communication Styles and how to adapt yours to create alignment from both a speaker and listener standpoint.

About the Speaker

Tinja Anderson is a sales and communications consultant with over a decade of corporate training and executive level coaching experience, specializing in persuasive presentation and experienced based training. She has trained over 1000 professionals, globally, cross-divisionally, and cross-disciplines, and has assisted in building over 500 value proposition presentations, both customer facing and internal AFE type presentations. Tinja has been an integral part of developing proposals to affect change to meet and exceed global market demands, whether that is through implementing a preferred culture for sales, customer service, and project management, or through driving for quantifiable value.
